My name is Austin Wise and I was born and raised on a small family farm in Northwest Arkansas. From an early age I have cut firewood and have been fascinated with building, so it should be no wonder the two matched up later in life. Most of my time was on the farm and in school, but while earning my graduate degrees, I began exploring woodworking.

Over time, I practiced this craft as often as possible, slowly accumulating all of the tools necessary to make fine furniture. I eventually decided to start Valley View Woodcraft in 2022, inspired by the view of the NW Arkansas Valley from the farm. Since then I have strived to make high end custom wood and furniture products designed and built to last a lifetime.
